She was engaged in the following salvage operations:

1972 - military transport ship "Irgiz", grounded on Marmara island;

1974 - larga antisubmarine ship BPK "Otvaznyy";

2003 - research works at scene of sunk submarine "CHSH-211" in the vivinity of Varna.

In 1977 she was titled as the best ship of the fleet, first ever non-battle ship.

1984-1990 - she has being repaired while intended to be sold to Indian Navy, but left in Russian Navy.

Type & project: Salvage ship of 527 project. Later on modernized to 527M project.

Special equipment:

Winch - 25 t;

Derrick - 12 t;

Towing bit - double by 200 t.

Water-removing pumps - 3600 m³/h;

Fire guns - 7 x 220 m³/h;

Diving bells: VK - up to 800 m; SK-64 - up to 500 m;

Diving chamber RK-680 - up to 450 m;

Observation chamber - up to 500 m.

Crew: 135 persons.
